For those of you who have not heard, we had an electrical fire during the morning of October 24th. Although the actual fire did minor damage, the water and smoke damage was much more extensive. Our facility has been shut down since that time and we will not be able to fully reopen until November 28th.
We would like to publically thank the programs that helped us out during our time of need. Michigan Academy of Gymnastics, Euro Stars Gymnastics and Livonia Gymnastics Academy, each went above and beyond in welcoming our teams into their facilities and sharing their precious time and space with us. Without their kindness and generosity we would have had to sit idle during this time jeopardizing our approaching competitive season.
Despite the competitive nature of all the programs in Michigan we had many more then just these three that also offered varying levels of support. From the staff, gymnasts and parents of Mills Gymnastics USA; thanks to every one of you for your kindnesses and well wishes. We are proud to be in a state that excels in all the virtues that makes gymnastics great both in and out of the gym!
